The wedding of

Elena & Miguel

Tagaytay

Elena and Miguel in evening light

Our story

Two chapters, one garden.

Elena met Miguel at a friend’s birthday in Quezon City, both reaching for the last slice of ube cake. She let him have it. He has been making it up to her since: seven years, three cities, one very patient dog.

He proposed on the ridge in Tagaytay on a cold December morning, with the lake below and no one else awake. So that is where we are going back to. We would love for you to be there.

The day

How the afternoon unfolds.

  1. Arrival

Welcome drinks in the chapel garden. Come early for the view of the lake.

  2. Ceremony

Alta Vista Chapel. Forty minutes, then confetti. Phones down, please, until the kiss.

  3. Cocktails on the terrace

Sunset over Taal. A string trio, a cheese table, and a wine bar.

  4. Dinner and toasts

Family-style dinner in the glasshouse. Choose your main when you reply.

  5. First dance, then everyone

The playlist Miguel has been building since the proposal. Requests welcome.

  6. Sparkler send-off

One last cheer on the ridge. Shuttles to the hotels run until midnight.

Getting there

Alta Vista Chapel & Glasshouse, Tagaytay.

Ceremony

Alta Vista Chapel

Tagaytay–Nasugbu Highway, Tagaytay City, Cavite. The chapel is on the ridge side of the road, past the second viewing deck.

Reception

The Glasshouse

A three-minute walk from the chapel through the garden. Golf carts for anyone who would rather not walk in heels.

Parking and shuttles

Free parking at the chapel lot. From Manila, allow two hours on a Saturday afternoon. Shuttles from Taal Vista and the ridge hotels leave at 2:45 PM and return until midnight.

Dress code

Garden formal, in ivory and wine.

Long dresses and suits, in the colours below or anything that sits well beside them. The ceremony is outdoors and Tagaytay is cool in November, so bring a wrap or a jacket for the terrace.

  • Ivory
  • Wine
  • Sage
  • Gold
  • Ink

We would gently ask that white be left for the bride.

Larger rooms and a pool for anyone bringing the kids for the weekend. The shuttle stops here first.

Questions

The things you were going to ask.

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation was addressed to you and a guest, yes. If not, we have kept the room small on purpose and hope you understand.

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones, but the ceremony and dinner are adults only. The garden resort on the shuttle route has childcare on the day; ask us and we will connect you.

What about gifts?

Your presence on the ridge is the gift. If you would like to give something, a contribution to the honeymoon fund will be received with love. Details are on the card.

Is there parking?

Yes, free at the chapel lot. Shuttles run from the ridge hotels so no one has to drive back down after the wine.

Will it be cold?

Probably. Tagaytay in November is around 20 degrees in the evening. Bring a wrap for the terrace.

Can we take photos?

Please do, after the kiss. During the ceremony we would love your eyes, not your screens. Tag anything you post with #ElenaFoundHerMiguel.

RSVP

Will you be there?

Kindly reply by 1 October 2026 so we can seat the room and count the plates.
